In order to promote students’ English proficiency, enhance students’ awareness of their role in the globe, improve their cross-cultural communication abilities and cultivate more top-notch international talents in marine sciences and related fields as well, on the morning of March 2nd, the AFO held its first AFO Global Corner event with strong support from the School of International Education. Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the AFO, attended the event and delivered a speech.

As a brand new project organized by the academy, AFO Global Corner will be a special gift to centennial anniversary of Ocean University of China. It will also provide a platform for extensive learning and mutual exchanges for students and faculty, contributing to the construction of "a community with a shared future in education" and to the building of a maritime power as well as strengthening the construction of health human resources.
