On November 22, at the joint invitation of Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and Prof. Zhang Shaoqing and Prof. Gao Yang, Ph.D. supervisors of the Academy of Future Ocean, Internationally renowned climatologist, a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, an Academician of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Chair Professor at Tsinghua University, delivered an academic lecture titled “Impacts of Tropical and Northern High-Latitude Volcanic Eruptions on ENSO” at Future Ocean Forum. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and was attended by over 26,000 participants, including students from the AFO.
