On April 3, at the joint invitation of Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and Prof. Chen Xianyao, a Ph.D. supervisor of the Academy of Future Ocean, Prof. Martin Losch from the Alfred Wegener Institute in Germany delivered an academic lecture titled “Do We Need Non-Boussinesq Effects in an Ocean General Circulation Model for Climate Simulations?” at Future Ocean Forum. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Chen Xianyao, and was attended by over 17,000 participants, including students from the AFO.
