On April 22, at the joint invitation of Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and Prof. Zhang Zhiwei, a Ph.D. supervisor of the Academy of Future Ocean, Prof. James C. McWilliams from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) delivered an academic lecture titled “Mean Bottom Slope Currents in the Oceans” at Future Ocean Forum. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Zhang Zhiwei, and was attended by over 20,000 participants, including students from the AFO.
