On March 26, at the joint invitation of Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and Prof. Gao Yang, Assistant Dean and doctoral supervisor of the Academy of Future Ocean, Prof. Zhou Lei, a 2005 master’s graduate in physical oceanography from OUC and a scholar from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, delivered an academic lecture entitled “Intraseasonal Air-sea Interaction and Its Impact on the South Asian Monsoon” at the Future Ocean Forum. The lecture was jointly hosted by Vice Dean Prof. Gan Bolan and Prof. Gao Yang, and was attended by over 16,000 participants, including students from the Academy of Future Ocean.
